I am a Chartered Accountant and have worked in MNCs for 12 years (both in accounting firm and Industry), after starting my post qualification career with S.B. Billimoria which eventually became Deloitte, India.
I took a break for a few years to fulfill my duty of motherhood and meanwhile joined a reputed Management Institute as visiting faculty. During this break, I also took up fiction writing which had always been my passion. in 2016, I joined a CA firm as partner and started my career in practice.

My writing career continued that resulted in 7 published books in English and Bengali and also several published work in leading magazines/ Newpapers in Kolkata and Dhaka. I also pursued my dream and written and directed many stage-shows and some short films as well. In 2023, I resigned from my earlier firm in Kolkata and started my own consultancy company Ananya Pal in Nairobi which is my current place of residence.

Under my company banner I provide consultancy and advisory services in the field of Business, Finance & Technology. I also produce and direct cultural shows on regular basis with the purpose of Indo-African cultural collaboration and to promote talented local artists. The name of my production banner is Ananya Pal Production.

Ananya Pal has lived in several countries worldwide including India, Bangladesh, Thailand & Kenya.
